Super Bowl correspondent Ross Tucker checks in live with the Keystone Sports Network from Glendale, Ariz., where media attention is picking up, DeflateGate won’t go away and Super Bowl 49 is set to be played on Sunday. The carnival-like atmosphere is moving in, and media events bring “minutia” for the players involved.
“One game in my whole life I felt nervous before, and it was the Super Bowl,” Jon Ritchie added. “I always looked forward to having the opportunity go out on the field and try to hurt people, try to go out there and legally hurt yourself and others. I always thought that was the joy of the game. … This was the one game that gave me butterflies.”
Ritchie, Tucker and Bob Flounders talked about the buildup to Super Bowl 49 and the many storylines involved the week before in the Keystone Sports Network podcast.
