Penn State takes on Rutgers tomorrow in its Big Ten opener with a flurry of activity leading up to the game. Scarlet Knights coach Kyle Flood was suspended for the game, and star wide receiver Leonte Carroo was handed an indefinite suspension after allegedly assaulting a woman. Impact defensive lineman Darius Hamilton has also been ruled out with a lower body injury.
Rutgers is a wild card as it gets set to invade Beaver Stadium. Will the Scarlet Knights struggle to block out the noise, or will they rally around interim coach Norries Wilson? Las Vegas oddsmakers are betting on the former with the Nittany Lions checking in as a 10.5-point favorite, up from the opening line of seven points.
Bob Flounders, Ross Tucker and Dustin Hockensmith broke down the latest Rutgers news, as well as injury updates for Andrew Nelson, Grant Haley and Brandon Bell in a segment for this week’s Keystone Kickoff Show.
