KSN Podcast: Looking at Penn State injury news, what it means to be ‘on schedule’

Penn State football coach James Franklin took the time to address concerns about clock management and, vaguely, injuries going into the Nittany Lions’ season finale at Michigan State. Penn State is playing the role of spoiler as the Spartans vie for the Big Ten East division crown and a spot in the College Football Playoff, but could be doing so without the services of Bednarik Award finalist Carl Nassib.

Nassib played just two snaps in the Lions’ loss to Michigan last weekend. He’s part of a “banged up” roster that is limping to the finish line and still in search of a signature win. That effort could be made easier if Michigan State is without quarterback Connor Cook, who missed last week’s upset of Ohio State with a sprained shoulder.

Bob Flounders, Greg Pickel and Dustin Hockensmith talked about those topics and more on this week’s Keystone Kickoff Show. Check out audio of the show in this post and be sure to check back in to KeystoneSportsNetwork.com for plenty more Penn State podcasts and analysis.
