Penn State is reloading quickly under coach James Franklin with a huge influx of talent in the 2015 recruiting class to go with valuable experience gained by a young roster in 2014. The Nittany Lions still have issues to resolve, notably along the offensive line, but depth and numbers are on the upswing after laboring through three seasons of NCAA sanctions.
Big Ten Network analyst Gerry DiNardo has spent time studying the Penn State program and peeked behind the scenes at spring practice to get a first-hand look at the progress the Nittany Lions are making. A former coach at Indiana, Vanderbilt and LSU, DiNardo also has strong words for those who doubt Franklin’s coaching ability.
DiNardo joined Andrew P. Shay and Dustin Hockensmith on the Keystone Kickoff Show this week to talk about all things Penn State football and where the Nittany Lions stand in the loaded Big Ten East division. Check out audio of the show in this post and be sure to check back in to KeystoneSportsNetwork.com for plenty more Penn State podcasts and analysis.
