Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg has dominated headlines in the aftermath of the 2015 NFL draft. The rising junior ranks among the best prospects in the nation in 2016 and is being recognized as a high first-round talent in a number of “way-too-early” NFL mock drafts. Hackenberg is one of three potential first-round quarterbacks in the Big Ten, joining Michigan State’s Connor Cook and Ohio State’s Cardale Jones in that company.
Other news around Nittany Nation has begun to center around the verbal commitments of Miles Sanders and Lavert Hill, who are both either planning or taking unofficial visits elsewhere. Losing either four-star prospect would deal a blow to coach James Franklin’s six-member class, which ranks No. 16 on Rivals and No. 20 on 247 Sports.
Bob Flounders, Andrew P. Shay and Dustin Hockensmith took a look at those topics and plenty more in a segment for the Keystone Sports Network this week.
