Penn State has just one interior lineman in its lauded 2015 recruiting class in Steven Gonzalez, a four-star guard from Union City (N.J.) High School. The 6-3, 305-pound prospect said he is 100 percent committed to the Nittany Lions and doing his part to lure other big-time offensive linemen from both the 2015 and 2016 recruiting classes.
Gonzalez said James Franklin made all the difference when he gave his verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions back in March. He said he “felt at home” after Franklin and his staff arrived in January, much more so than when Bill O’Brien first began recruiting him.
Check out what Gonzalez had to say about O’Brien and Franklin, which players he’s recruiting to join him at Penn State and plenty more. He joined Dustin Hockensmith and Ross Tucker in an interview for the Keystone Sports Network just before hosting coaches Herb Hand and Ricky Rahne on a home visit.
